Speaker Spotlight – Harry Wolff

Harry Wolff is a passionate front-end engineer based in New York.   He graduated from the University of Connecticut with a Bachelor’s degree in General Studies with a focus on Web Development. After college he worked at GetGlue and Chartbeat where he was able to immerse himself in new front-end technologies such as Backbone.js, Angular.js, React and React Native.

At present, Harry is the Web Developer Lead at TodayTix, where he helps guide the front-end team. He was a core contributor to the Ghost project for over six months, and has developed a static site generator in node called Yarn.

In his free time, Harry writes on his personal blog where he discusses technical and non-technical matters. Recently, he signed up for Improv classes at the Upright Citizens Brigade to enhance his natural talent.  Friends who attended his graduation performances, were delighted and rated him ‘… extremely funny’.

He is excited to start sharing his knowledge, and giving talks in conferences around the world.

This Spring, Harry will discuss Going Mobile With React Native during his session for Syntax Code & Craft Convention.

SyntaxCon brings together over thirty-five talented developers from around the country who will share road-tested insights.
